This gallery, “Appalachian Gold” was created to honor Gold Rush Days in Dahlonega, Georgia, my current “hometown.” Gold was discovered in Dahlonega in 1828. I call Dahlonega “Norman Rockwell South” for it is quintessential-quaint, minus the northeast “attitude.” The photographs in this gallery were all made in Lumpkin County, where Dahlonega is the county seat. Enjoy!

Dallas you seem to soak up and enjoy the colors of the landscape. You feel the textures of every thing you photograph. Your photos are energetic and positive. May every day of your life bring you fresh hopes for tomorrow.
